The Dow Jones rose 5%!!! But calm down, the end is not here yet. The index has sunk so low there really was no where else to go but up. Kinda like the world’s jubilation over Obama’s election, following Bush.

What a week! I was watching the Obama Inauguration speech again. The similarities between this speech and Bush’s for his second term are striking. Check it out.(about 10 minutes in).
Also felt odd listening to all these mentions of the divine. Kinda like “My God is better than your God!” blah blah blah.

Obama announced his stimulus package would see the government undertake the biggest public works programme since the 1950s. In a previous post, I explained why most of China’s economic rescue package was aimed at public works and infrastructure. Seems that great minds do think alike.
